QuickSplint® is a temporary anterior bite plane (ABP) designed to assist in muscle relaxation, pain reduction, and protection of teeth and restorations. By preventing posterior tooth contact, it reduces muscle activity and load across the jaw, allowing the elevator muscles to relax and promoting a more stable condylar position.
In addition to reducing muscle tension, QuickSplint® helps dampen neurological pain pathways, supporting relief from symptoms associated with bruxism, clenching, and temporomandibular disorders (TMD).
Designed specifically for short-term, transitional use, QuickSplint® provides immediate clinical application without the need for laboratory fabrication. Wear patterns from clenching and bruxing are visibly recorded on the appliance, offering a valuable tool for patient education and diagnosis.
QuickSplint® is CE approved and FDA 510(k) cleared for temporary treatment of muscle and TMJ-related pain, as well as protection of teeth and restorations from parafunctional activity.
